About us

We started Circadian in 2010, after identifying there was a growing market for supporting Financial Planning firms with their back-office systems and processes.

We utilise our many years in the financial sector, our in-depth knowledge of back-office systems and specialist income reconciliation.

Our clients benefit from both our skills & expertise, but also our extremely personable and approachable service levels.

We have provided day to day outsourcing income reconciliation to over 100 Financial Planning firms, alongside in-house consultancy, and online training sessions to many more individuals and firms.

Our Team


Director of Account Services

Specialist Subjects: Training Delivery, Product Provider EDI Liaison, Query Handling

Tim has worked with Intelligent Office since its launch in 2004. He has headed up remuneration & new business teams within IFA practices since 2001, using this experience to help set up, and manage, the Circadian Remuneration Management outsourcing team since 2010. During this time Tim has also completed a management and customer service Diploma at Coventry University.
Outside of work, Tim is a devoted father of twins, a huge Everton fan, a keen runner and a successful amateur league football player-manager.

Head of Account Management

Specialist Subjects: Unallocated Reporting, Fee processing, DFM Fee Management

Matt has worked within accounts and finance teams since 2003, over half has been spent solely dealing with IFA Income Remuneration Management business.

In this time Matt has acquired a CF1 (UK Financial Services) qualification and obtained a diploma merit from Coventry University for customer service excellence (level 4).

In his spare time Matt is a keen musician and live performer.

Head of Network Accounts

Specialist Subjects: Split Templates, Unallocated Reporting, Agency Management

David has worked in the Financial Services Industry since 1980, mostly within income remuneration departments, for both product providers, with a direct sales force, IFA firms and Independent networks.

With experience of Intelligent Office since 2004, David was involved in the testing and launch of the bespoke commission and policy system that was the prequel.

Dave is a big Chelsea and in general, football fan.

Mark is into his second spell with Circadian, he originally worked in the retail and aviation industries (baggage handler in the latter) and in between stints worked in the logistics industry as a data analyst.

Hobbies include seeing family/friends, he is part of his local darts team (questionable ability) and is a big fan of QPR.

Senior Account Manager

Specialist Subjects: New Business Inputting, Client Fee Processing

Chris studied at Staffordshire University, Stafford, completing a 4 year sandwich course in BSc Computer Games Programming. He has also completed Level 1, 2 and 3 Awards in Computerised Accounts (Sage 50), achieving higher distinction achieved at all levels.

His hobbies include playing video games, listening to podcasts, playing tabletop role playing games and puppetry.

Senior Account Manager

Izabela has worked in Financial Services since 2016, starting as a receptionist at an IFA firm and progressing through to financial admin, including fee and income reconciliation. Izabela became Income Manager for a large Financial Services intermediary in February 2020 and in February 2024, became part of the Circadian team. She completed the AAT Foundation Certificate in Accounting in 2020 with a distinction, and has plans to do the AAT Level 3 and 4 Diplomas at some point in future. In her spare time, Izabela likes to socialise with friends, reading, going to the gym, and travelling with her boyfriend. Her most memorable trips are going to Rio Carnival in Brazil and trekking to Annapurna Basecamp in Nepal.

Intelliflo Office Consultant

Specialist subjects: Advice Journey. Training Delivery. Data landscape and cleansing. IO store Apps. “In-Flight” case troubleshooting and resolution via our unique Helpdesk facility.

Steve has worked with Intelligent Office since 2019 on a “live” Helpdesk for a large adviser network with hundreds of firms and thousands of users, catering for all users levels, from basic training to complex troubleshooting and root cause analysis. Prior to working within Intelliflo Office, Steve spent over 20 years in the Print sector managing and evolving print products and manufacturing techniques in a highly regulated compliance driven environment,  where “right first time” was the only standard.  He is a Founder member of the Institute of Paper, Print and Publishing. Steve’s key experience extends back to the introduction of the PC in the business environment. Regulatory specific software packages across, Print, Chemicals, Engineering and Finance. His introduction was, BS5750, floppy discs and green screens, evolving into Software as a Service, based in the cloud. Outside work Steve enjoys the great outdoors, Electronic Dance Music and anything to do with motorcycles.
